Ix Chel Healing Arts Inc. strives to become a beacon in the global community for purposeful creation and conscious awareness by providing a sacred healing space where individuals may explore Universal truths and consciously create their lives.
Early in 2005, while walking around their favorite lake, Carol Tedesco and Lisa Yslas birthed a vision of a Healing Arts Center that would provide multiple healing services, along with select retail items to support and enhance those services. This vision resulted in Ix Chel Healing Arts, Inc., a business partnership between Lisa and Carol now opened in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
The name Ix Chel (pronounced E-Shell) is the name of the "Great Mother Goddess" in the Mayan culture. She is a healer, the Goddess of Medicine, who knows all of the healing gifts of the Earth and Her children, the plants. Her methods of teaching and healing are by example.
In March of 2005 Carol was introduced to Sandra Dayton, an American woman living in Puerto Morelos, Mexico. Sandra had written several books that were channeled to her by the goddess, and the message from Ix Chel was, "It is time to take responsibility for the manifestation of the Feminine power of healing throughout the world. Women (or the feminine aspect of the Divine) are being called to do their part in global transformation." Through a series of synchronicities Carol met Sandra and a painting Carol created in October of 2004 is now going to be the cover of Sandra's second book. To read the whole story, click here!
The Center is a safe environment where people may receive physical, emotional, and spiritual support through participation in various healing services, classes and workshops that improves their total well being --- body, mind and spirit. We believe that when you clear away all obstacles and begin your healing from within, you are better able to connect to your Divine nature. In doing so, you make way for greater clarity, and an influx of new energies, and are able to remember who you are, and why you are here. When you connect to why you have been put on this Earth plane, you are at last, FREE!
Carol left the corporate world in June of 2004 to grow and develop her own spiritual path and help others to ignite their inner voices to help bring positive change in their lives. She helps individuals express their desires, the songs of their hearts, as she asserts her rightful place in helping to bring about a cosmic shift in universal awareness.
In July of 2005, Lisa also took the plunge and left her corporate job making way for the creation of Ix Chel Healing Arts, Inc. Together with Carol she devoted her time and energy toward creating the vision and preparing herself for her work as a healer and spiritual mentor.
Personally, Lisa has approached her spiritual life from a place of awareness and has nurtured it throughout her life. She has a gift for listening to people with her whole being, allowing her to connect on a deeper level to those she encounters. Lisa recognized the importance of finding her inner voice and using it to guide her everyday life, knowing that with heart-centered, soul-centered clarity it will allow her to design her days with confidence.
