Rebecca Blackbyrd is an animal communicator and certified Reiki practitioner. She developed the ability to communicate with animals about three years ago while working and living on a farm animal sanctuary in the foothills of northern Colorado.
Through her studies of heart-centered meditation, Reiki, and Perelandra's Medical Assistance Program, she developed tools to help support the sanctuary animals during times of stress, illness, or euthanization. As she worked with the animals, she began receiving specific physical sensations and intuitive hits about their needs and emotions. Finally one day she began to literally hear what the animals were saying. Although they firmly set down "rules" for her, the rescued sheep, horses, pigs, cows, turkeys, and chickens also offered themselves as willing teachers, helping her to trust what she heard and felt.
Rebecca grew up in Colorado and currently lives in Denver. She enjoys music, reading, trying out new living food recipes, and being constantly entertained by her five cats.
Rebecca works with animals and their people in-person to help solve behavior problems, to provide support during illness and times of stress, to make household transitions easier, and to strengthen the overall relationship. When communication is not enough to solve a problem, she uses Nature Healing Conings and/or Reiki to help find solutions. Both types of energy work open blocks in the animal that cause illness, fear, and emotional rigidity. The animal receives immediate balance and Rebecca receives concrete guidance to do what is in the animal's highest good.
A session for 1-2 animals lasts about an hour, includes any energy work required, and is $55. Additional animals are $25 each. You are welcome to bring your companion to the center. If he or she prefers not to travel, a photo works just as effectively.
